Dr. Larry Sexton

Larry Sexton is a retired Dentist in his seventies, who has been involved with orchids since the late 1980s. He has been in the judging program since 1998, judging on the local, national, and international level. He is the student education coordinator for the Chicago Judging Center. Larry is also a member of the Batavia Orchid society and has served on its board of directors since the 1990s.

Larry currently serves on the Audit, Award, Governance, Finance, and Investments committees of the AOS. He also serves on the Editorial board of Orchids and is also a proofreader. He also writes articles for Orchids and edits the Question-and-Answer column for Orchids magazine. He is also working on a new concept for orchids: My Favorite Orchid which deals with grower’s favorite orchids and what their culture is.
