Michelle Dobard

Michelle started growing orchids, cymbidiums, in the year 2000.  She stumbled upon her love for orchids while buying Koi fish supplies!  The Torrance Cymbidium Society was selling orchids at the local Koi nursery she frequents.  She grows several different genera, with Dockrillia being one of her absolute favorites, especially since they are perfect for the Southern California climate, where she lives.

Michelle has been an accredited AOS and CSA judge since 2017.  She is a Systems Engineer professionally and orchids allow her creative side to blossom.
