Four flowers and three buds on one erect, basal, racemose, 14 cm long inflorescence; 14 cm wide by 17 cm tall plant grown in sphagnum moss in a 21 cm clay pot; plicate, ovate leaves green spotted purple emerge from a tubular sheath on terete pseudobulbs; sepals and petals apple green, faint darker longitudinal striations; lip white, faint apple green centrally, proximal half striated purple; column white; aesthetically pleasing flower and plant commended for its culture as well as educational value since genus is not widely cultivated; native to China, Hong Kong, Laos, and Taiwan; confirmed by SITF; purchased from Andy's Orchids, this specific plant came out of Laos.
