SITF confirms this plant as Dendrobium indivisum var. indivisum (Dec 2024). The flower and plant form are good matches to indivisum var. indivisum with many good comparison photos which shows striping on the lip to be very similar to those on Orchidroots.com, although the striping can be somewhat variable, esp. in the lip. The flower size is acceptable, although a little large. This plant's flower and foliage closely matches the flower and plant photo in the IOSPE.

Three flowers and one bud on four inflorescences to 0.3-cm; plant growing on a wood slab 7.0 cm wide x 7.5 cm long, plant measures 9 cm wide x 11 cm long, stems to 9 cm long, rigid, leaves distichous, equitant, laterally flattened, thick, at right angle to stem, 0.5 cm wide x 1.5 cm long, medium green, inflorescences bunched subterminally, one flowered sometimes opening in sequence, reblooming at old sites, root tips green; sepals pale chartreuse with darker margins, 3 maroon veins on basal two-thirds; petals pale chartreuse darker margins, vein on midrib on basal two-thirds, maroon; lip cream, thick, callus bowl-shaped with two short blunt teeth on the anterior rim, cream, side lobes with three maroon stripes, column 0.1 cm x 0.1 cm long, cream blushed maroon basally, anther cap cream; ovary pale chartreuse, ribbed longitudinally, 0.1 cm wide x 0.2 cm long; substance heavy; texture waxy; species from Thailand; plant awarded at Dendrobium indivisum var. indivisum the Thai form as described in Howard P. Wood book "The Dendrobiums", page 643, this variety not recognized by Kew; ID by SITF ______________.
