Ten attractive flowers on five inflorescences, and one additional immature inflorescence, on four flowering canes up to cm tall; leaves linear-lanceolate, 1 cm wide by 5.5 cm long, bear intense anthocyanin pigments, especially on reverse as well as on immature growths; sepals and petals translucent ivory heavily suffused pink, sepaline veins cerise intensity apically on reverse; lip dark chocolate, transitioning to green basally, recurved apical tip bright orange; three winged ovary green, intense cerise basally on the reverse; anther cap ivory; substance heavy; texture diamond dust; recognized for unique color form and anthocyanin pigments in foliage; native to New Guinea; confirmed by SITF
