Finding
This plant matches photos of Habenaria crinifera in the IOSPE, POWO, orchidroots.com and OW; the flower form is very distinctive in this species; although the description in the IOSPE states 2-4 flowers on up to a seven to 12-cm inflorescence, the herbarium specimen in the POWO shows numerous flowers on one very long inflorescence as is this plant with eleven flowers and one bud on one 44-cm inflorescence.

Eleven white flowers and one bud on one strong, upright 44cm terminal inflorescence on a terrestrial, tuberous plant grown in an 6cm plastic pot of small bark mix, 6 basally clustered, oblong-lanceolate, acute leaves, 2.5cm wide x 12cm long randomly arranged; petals and sepals blushed light green inferior, distal one-half; petals enclosed in hooded dorsal sepal; lip white, midlobe clawed, cleft with two lance shaped long tailed segments, side lobes with the lateral margins toothed proximally; complex reproductive parts white; ovary 0.2cm wide x 3cm long, dark green, ribbed longitudinally; sheath around ovary 0.5cm wide x 1.7cm long, green; spur 0.1cm wide x 3.5cm long, clavate, light green, darker distally; substance medium; texture waxy; species native to eastern Himalayas, India and Sri Lanka; ID by SITF ______________.
