Paphiopedilum-villosum-f-fuscoroseum-2022-03-22 *SITF has confirmed this plant as Paphiopedilum villosum f. fuscoroseum (Nov 2022); f. fuscoroseum is a validly published forma of Paphiopedilum villosum by Gruss in 2007 and this plant matches the description of this forma as a marginal form of the taxon which has the dorsal sepal with a deep purple central area margined with a wide, pure white border; plants of this form were recently described as P. macranthum (Syn. of P. villosum) based on plants imported from Eastern Cambodia bordering Vietnam; matches description and photos found in the researchgate.net article, 316919348, "Variations of Paphiopedilum villosum in Vietnam".*
