SITF confirms this plant as Acianthera panduripetala (Nov 2024). The flower form is a good match to A. panduripetala in the IOSPE; the Genus is accepted by Kew as Acianthera. The petals also match the drawing of the species in the IOSPE. The plant matches several photos in the orchidroots.com.

Six flowers and five buds on 11 inflorescences 0.1 cm x 1.2 cm long, plant growing on a piece of cholla 3.5 cm wide x 20 cm long with a pad of sphagnum moss, plant 18 cm wide x 11 cm tall, longest ramicaul 0.2 cm wide x 7.5 cm long, terete, medium green, 3 dry tan tubular sheaths stippled brown basally, largest leaf 2.5 cm wide x 5.5 cm long, lanceolate, margins smooth, medium green, root tips green; flowers blooming from tan sheath 0.2cm wide x 0.7 long in the leaf axial, dorsal sepal linear, porrect, slightly recurved at apex, translucent white, three dark purple veins on reverse showing through to front, distal apex overlaid light purple; synsepal fused, concave, ovate, translucent white spotted dark purple, solid dark purple on distal one-third; petals appressed to column, spathulate, transparent clear spotted dark purple, margins lacinate, cupped at apex; lip pandurate, dark yellow proximal one-half, light yellow distal one-half with three darker yellow veins, distal margin slightly spinose, random purple spots, side lobes dark yellow; column chartreuse, white at apex, erose margins on apex, anther cap yellow; ovary 0.2 cm wide x 0.3 cm long, green, ribbed longitudinally, substance medium; texture crystalline; species native to S/SE Brazil; ID by SITF on _________________________.
