Nine dainty, stellate non-resupinate flowers on one terminal inflorescence to 16cm on a 27-cm tall by 31-cm wide plant in a 10-cm wide clay pot grown in tree fern fiber; pseudobulbs flattened ovoid to 8-cm tall by 3.8-cm wide; leaves lanceolate to 22-cm long by 2.7-cm wide; sepals and petals lanceolate light chartreuse, finely speckled burgundy; lip spatulate cream, deep fuchsia apically, margins cream; column cream, speckled burgundy basally; anther cap cream; substance firm; texture matte; native to eastern Brazil; recognized as rare in cultivation and a charming smaller species within the genus.
