SITF confirms this plant is Bulbophyllum contortisepalum (Dec 2023). This is a very distinctive species, no other species in the Bulbophyllum Section Hoplandra is similar. Photos of this plant clearly show the fringe on the basal margins of the lip and petal apices. Matches description and photos of B. contortisepalum in the "Orchids of New Guinea.com". Forty-six photos in the orchidroots.com also closely match. Images of the species show the color is quite variable.
