Finding
One photo of this plant shows a leaf that appears to be articulate, which is not correct for this genus. This plant does not match the image in Kew's Plants of the World On-Line (POWO) for B. infundibuliforme. The sidelobes of this plant appear too large for B. infundibuliforme. This plant does not match the description and illustration in O'Byrne's 1994 "Lowland Orchids of Papua New Guinea" and the award plant photos do not match the photos by Joan Levy and identified by Garay in the IOSPE.
