Primarily a Q&A opportunity for a Society to learn more about the processes. There is no speaker's fee for this talk, although travel expenses may be negotiable.

With decades of experience sleuthing locations of native orchids, including with the Native Orchid Conference, this presentation presents the breadth of species - some very common, but others quite rare. Locations range from New England to the Pacific Northwest, from Arizona and Florida to Churchill, Manitoba. Conservation is a theme throughout the presentation

Following several trips to Ecuador, this talk depicts orchids in various habitats, from the Galapagos to the Andean cloud forests, the high paramo, and Amazonia. Interspersed are cultivated orchid displatys, including gardens, and shows including Scientific Conferences ant the recent World Orchid Conference.

Traveling several times to Costa Rica, this talk is a combination of scenery, including orchids in their native habitat, and attending a variety of orchid shows. Orchids native to Costa Rica are highlighted.

Several trips to various parts of South Florida have resulted in images of native orchids in their habitats including the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, Big Cypress and Everglades National Parks.

This combination of native orchids in situ, cultivated orchids, and orchid shows presents a glimpse of the diversity and types of orchids grown in New Zealand, as well as a selection of breathtaking scenic areas from the tropics of the North Island to the sub-Antarctic islands.
