Overview
Monopodial epiphytes. Stems very short. Leaves alternate, distichous, obliquely bilobed at the apex. Inflorescences axillary pedunculate racemes. Flowers borne in successive flushes. Sepals and petals free, spreading, subsimilar, subequal. Lip three-lobed, saccate, the midlobe a transverse ridge, without internal callus. Column straight, short, without wings, with a long foot; pollinia 4, in two pairs on a common stipe and viscidium.
Etymology
From type locality of Bogor, Java.
Distribution
A genus of four species native from Sumatra to New Guinea.
