Overview
Scrambling, climbing, monopodial epiphytes or lithophytes, rooting along the stem, the roots long, branched. Leaves alternate, distichous, elliptic, notched at the apices. Inflorescences short, few-flowered racemes, produced subopposite to the last leaf. Flowers white. Sepals and petals free, spreading. Lip three-lobed, with a long club-shaped spur. Column very short; pollinia 2, on a stipe and viscidium.
Etymology
Honoring the German plant collector Max J. Dinklage who added to our knowledge of West African plants.
Distribution
A genus of two species from Tropical Africa.
