Overview
Epiphytes lacking pseudobulbs. Stems erect, leafy, branching, rooting at the branch points. Inflorescences both terminal and lateral few-flowered subsessile racemes. Sepals and petals free, spreading, subsimilar, subequal. Lip unlobed, without callus. Column with a short column foot; pollinia 4, in two pairs on two caudicles.
Etymology
Named for A. H. Heller, orchid collector and student of the Nicaragua flora.
Distribution
A genus of two species from Mesoamerica.
