Overview
Caespitose epiphytes. Pseudobulbs large, ovoid. Leaves 2--3, elliptic-lanceolate. Inflorescences erect or pendent racemes. Flowers fleshy, subglobose. Sepals and petals free, spreading. Lip three-lobed, clawed, with a tooth-like basal callus and a central low callus. Column elongate, club-shaped, curved, with apical wings; pollinia 2, on a linear stipe and minute viscidium.

Grow Lueddemannia in large baskets in a medium to coarse-grade epiphyte mixture. Provide intermediate to cool-intermediate temperatures and medium light levels. Water regularly when in active growth with reduced watering after the pseudobulbs have matured.
