Overview
Trailing terrestrials. Roots sparse at base of new growth. Pseudobulbs cylindric, tapered from the base, fleshy-succulent. Leaves one, ovate, richly marked. Inflorescences very short terminal racemes. Flowers not resupinate. Sepals and petals free, spreading, strongly recurved, subsimilar, subequal. Lip unlobed or three-lobed, with a short spur. Column straight, lightly winged, terminating in three short teeth, the anther bilobed; pollinia 4, naked.
Distribution
A genus of 17 species found from northeast India to to Borneo and the Philippines.

Grow Nephelaphyllum in bulb pans of rich terrestrial mixture. Provide medium to low light levels, intermediate to cool-intermediate temperatures, high humidity, and steady watering throughout the year. Nephelaphyllums are good candidates for terrarium culture.
