A genus of two species from Australis, New Zealand, and New Caledonia.

Grow plants of Orthoceras in pots of sandy loam. Provide bright light levels, intermediate temperatures, and regular watering when the plants have leaves. After flowering the plants enter dormancy, the leaves wither, and watering should be minimal until the onset of new growth.
