Overview
Caespitose epiphytes. Stems elongate, cane-like, leafy, concealed by persistent leaf sheaths. Leaves alternate, distichous, linear. Inflorescences axillary, subsessile. Flowers few, minute. Sepals and petals free, spreading, the lateral sepals sometimes fused. Lip unlobed, spatulate. Column very short, with a foot, with terminal wings; pollinia 8, joined to a minute common viscidium.
Distribution
A genus of about ten species ranging from India (Nicobar Islands) to New Guinea.
