Overview

Rosulate terrestrials. Roots fleshy. Leaves few, basal, petiolate. Inflorescences erect scapose racemes. Flowers minute, subglobose. Sepals and petals free, the petals appressed to the dorsal sepal. Lip unlobed, clawed, fleshy, deeply concave, atatched to the column foot. Column short, the stigmas two, confluent, the rostellum short, trapeezoid, notched; pollinia 2, club-shaped with a minute viscidium.

Distribution

A genus of two species from Mesoamerica and the Greater Antilles.
