Cymbidium-sanderae-2022-03-09 *SITF confirms this plant as Cymbidium sanderae (Feb 2023); based on Cribb and DuPuy's key in the Genus Cymbidium; this plant keys to Cym. sanderae; it is not parishii because that species produces indeterminate pseudobulbs that continue to elongate for several years and produce inflorescences from the leaf axils; these pseudobulbs are ovoid, only slightly compressed and flower from the base; not Cym. eburneum because the inflorescence has too few flowers and is much too short; also, the crest is incorrect, the side lobes are the wrong shape and the apex of the lip is distinctly rounded; matches photos in the OW.*
