Dendrobium-dixonianum-2019-11-10***Determined not to be Dendrobium dixonianum (Oct 2020); although this plant is similar to D. dixonianum, it differs in the lip form; the drawing by Seidenfaden and photos of D. dixonianum show the mid lobe with one keel which splits into three prominent fingers terminating about one-third from the apex of the lip; this specimen has one high, narrow keel which abruptly terminates at the mid-point of the lip and two low mounds which continue to the apex; with the aid of two taxonomists knowledgeable with this Thai Section of Dendrobium, we determined that it is not D. dixonianum; it appears to be an unknown species at this time.***
