SITF has determined that this plant is most likely not Staurochilus gibbosicalcar (Sep 2024). Staurochilus gibbosicalcar is considered synonymous with Trichoglottis gibbosicalcar; however, the lip does not appear correct for this species. There is insufficient photographic detail to make a correct determination at this time. There appears to be one poor quality photo of one flower and no flowers are shown in any of the additional photos. With better, more detailed photography in the future, SITF can reopen this case.
