Finding

SITF has determined that this plant is not Dracula wallisii (Aug 2024). The flower in the award photo does not look like D. wallisii; D. wallisii has very coarse hairs, those on the award photo of this plant are too fine by comparison. There is insufficient detail to make any other determination.

This appears to be incorrectly identified. Based on experience and the literature (see attachments from Icones Pleurothallidinarum X: Systematics of Dracula and Thesaurus Dracularum 6:15 the flower does not look like Dracula walisii and the lip in particular appears incorrect for this species. The latter is far too large and incorrectly shaped for the species.
