Finding
SITF confirms this plant as Gastrochilus minutiflorus (Aug 2024). G. minutiflorus is similar to G. acinacifolius; however, G. acinacifolius has two short bristlelike appendages (awn) like two lobes that look like needles on the very tips of the leaves. This plant does not show that characteristic. G. minutiflorus is only about 1.0-cm wide. Both G. minutiflorus and G. acinacifolius are very similar in color and markings, but with the smaller flower size (1.0 cm N.S.) of this flower and the difference in the leaves, this is most like G. minutiflorus.
