SITF confirms this plant as Stichorkis gibbosa (Sep 2024). This is a very distinctive species that allowed the SITF to confirm its identity, although there was a lack of clear, detailed photographs submitted of the flowers. This plant is unique in its appearance and inflorescence; it is a close match with the description and photos in the IOSPE and OW and clearly matches the photos in the orchidroots.com.
